How to disable firewall on specific port?

You can disable your firewall on specific port to allow the connection between the SimLab Composer and the server when the "Connecting to server failed" dialog appears:

1. From the control panel choose Windows Firewall

2. Then go to advance setting from the menu on the left choose inbound rule.

3. Select “New Rule” -> Port -> make sure that TCP is selected.

4. Choose Specific local ports and fill the specific port that you want to allow.

5. After that choose “Allow the connection” -> Next

6. The Domain, private and Public must be checked.

7. Finally fill your name.
